While the morning brunch has its quiet charm, and the afternoon snack is relaxing, the late night hours are truly the essence of this place.
There are a number of ways I hear people judge restaurants. One friend bases his judgment on how often his water gets refilled, one judges French restaurants by their bread baskets. If we were to judge Italian by the meatballs, Vento would be pretty damn good.
The rooms are dark, the noise level high, and the prices steep. Now would you still go to Minetta if reservations were easy and all you get was the food?
